About us
ICT – International Canine Trainers is part of International Canine Behaviourists (ICB).
International Canine Behaviourists (ICB) is a leading authority in canine behaviour and welfare, dedicated to improving the lives of dogs and their guardians worldwide. Guided by the philosophy “Welfare Never Compromised,” ICB is committed to promoting the highest standards of mental and physical wellbeing for dogs.
As part of ICB, ICT – International Canine Trainers was created to support, educate, and inspire dog trainers who are committed to ethical, welfare-focused training practices. ICT provides support for trainers at every stage of their career, helping them build the knowledge and confidence needed to work successfully with dogs and their guardians.
ICT promotes modern, science-led training methods that priorities trust, communication, and the emotional wellbeing of the dog. Through accessible learning, mentorship, and a global community of like-minded professionals, ICT encourages trainers to continue developing their skills while upholding the highest standards of canine welfare and professional conduct.
Together, ICB and ICT specialise in understanding and resolving canine behavioural challenges through compassionate, non-judgemental, and evidence-based approaches. Our supportive ethos is shaped by real-life experience as dog guardians, and an understanding of how dogs learn.

We support the International Canine Legislation Action Committee in its work for humane, force-free training and the removal of aversive tools from sale and use.
